Instead, it turned into me becoming the first American to start a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) PhD program in Shanghai, China .
Somewhere along that winding road, I also became the multi-award-winning author of Book of the Silenced.
Life is weird. I highly recommend saying yes to it.
