Peppermint / Mentha (Bo He)

Peppermint is an aromatic, easily grown herb and has wonderful culinary properties. It’s harvested in a summer on a sunny day, when leaves are thriving, thoroughly dried (sun or shade) and used as a tea or a tincture.

General population is familiar with the relief for upset stomach, but there’s a lot more to this herb.

Peppermint (Chinese PinYin name is Bo He) is used to relieve the symptoms and discomforts caused by wind and heat with symptoms (cold and flu) of fever, headache, cough, sore throat, and red eyes.

Mentha is also good early stage of rashes, especially known for measles relief, pressure in chest and flanks, gynecological problems, and unstable emotions.
