Chia Seed Pudding

Chia Seed Fruit Pudding

Commonly grown in Mexico, known as a word “strength” in the Mayan language, used by Aztec warriors for their endurance, rich in fiber chia seeds are also known as great energy boosters.

According to Dr. Axe, Chia seed benefits include promoting healthy skin, reducing signs of aging, supporting the heart and digestive system, building stronger bones and muscles and more.

Here’s your very own recipe for easy-to-make Chia seeds pudding:

2/3 cup Chia Seeds

2 1/2 cups coconut or almond milk

1/2 – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (to your liking)

2 Tablespoons maple syrup

4 Tablespoons Honey (preferably raw)

Pinch of Hymalayan Salt

(You can also add cinnamon if you like it).

HOW TO MAKE IT…

Soak Chia seeds with water in separate cup, let sit for 10-15 minutes until they are gelatinous (soaked chia seeds are easier to digest).

In the meantime, mix all other ingredients.
Add chia seeds and whisk rapidly for 5 minutes (you’re whisking rapidly so you avoid forming of the lumps).

Add fresh and organic fruit on top ( I like strawberries and blueberries but you can add fruit of your choice). You can also add walnuts (chopped or ground ) on top.
Cool in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
